Well, it's been an exciting couple of weeks, although I haven't had the bandwidth to do much here (looking for additional contributors, if you think you've got what it takes, nudge, nudge, wink, wink!) I gave a short talk at the eComm "Emerging Communications" conference on "Where's the Desktop?", which seems to have gone well: no one called me an idiot on Twitter, and three quotes (out of a fifteen-minute talk) were floating around...
Some excellent photos, courtesy of the equally-excellent James Duncan Davidson, came out of it, at the very least.

Amsterdam was, as always, excellent: bitterballen, koffie verkeerd, stroopwaffelen, and lots of interesting things to see and do. I'm back for about six days (two of which will be taken up attending the Open Mobile Summit—I'm doing a panel on "Applications in the Cloud" on Thursday—and then I'm off to Korea for a week. After that, no more travel planned for the remainder of 2009.
In other exciting, yet off-topic, news, I'm about to become a grandfather, for the third time. However, I will be reporting (at least) on the interesting outcome of our latest poll: last chance to get your votes in!
